I’m well into my sixth decade of life, and tuna has constantly been a bestloved food. By now I’ve found Chicken of the Sea to be my bestloved brand with larger, lighter, firmer chunks. That’s not what came in the case I got. Perhaps this only happens when the product is discounted deeply (I salaried in regards to fifty cents per can), but what I got was darker flakes of mushy tuna floating in water. When I squeezed out the water by causing sad feelings of gloom and inadequacy the lid the tuna filled fewer than half the depth of the cant I expect I got what I salaried for, but with each may I open my opinion of Chicken of the Sea goes down another notch.

I purchased this as kind of a feed storage “survival” item, but we keep eating it is It seems that having a case of tuna on hand is good when you haven’t been able to get to the grocery store for a while, or somebody just wants something dissimilar or a quick snack. I will definitely continue to keep this in my pantry at home.

I’ve been eating Chicken of the Sea chunk light tuna for years. I preferred it over other popular grocery store brands because the tuna came in good sized chunks (similar to the consistency of solid white albacore of other brands) and was generally very good quality.

In the last several months, something has changed. As another reviewer brought up recently, what you get now is a may full of finely chopped up mush that is much darker in color and not virtually as tasty. I thought perchance it was a fluke and I purchased a bad can, but I’ve gone through in regards to 10 straight cans over a 4 month period, and they’ve all been of the same substandard quality. Perhaps the company started cutting corners or using inferior quality fish to ameliorate it is profits; whatsoever the reason, I may not eat this trash any more and am on a search for a better tuna fish.

It was much cheaper to purchase on Amazon than at the local grocery store. I’m stocked up for a while now outstanding Expiration dates on the ones I got were not until 2014 so that’s swell

With all the high reviews maybe we just got a bad batch because I wasn’t impressed at all. I have had tuna packed in water in the past and you could just crack the top open more or fewer and drain the water out leaving nice flake tuna. When I tried this with the primary may nothing came out. I went ahead and opened the may all the way. The contents looked like mush loaded with white fatty grease. I tried scooping such a lot of of the fat off the top but it went well beyond the top. I gave it 2 stars instead than one since after making it into tuna salad with mayo and relish and such, it didn’t taste bad. The introductory look of it alone even though made it unmanageable to enjoy. The cat doesn’t seem to mind it is I won’t buy it again.

my wife tried making tuna sammies for me with this meat. she would prepare it the night before, and by the time i wanted to eat it the next day for lunch, it would have very strong fishy smell. strong sufficient to where i did not want to eat it (and i am NOT a fussy eater). we did not have this problem with other tuna (i don’t recall what brands, it could have been the same). so we only use it for same time consumption or for cooking.

Didn’t taste at all like chicken! More like tuna, very nice tuna and not a hint of dolphin. I was told to try it with mustard as a healthier substitute to mayo, and it is actually good.

Just like the ones you buy at the supermarket, except that it costs with regards to 65% less.

The cats genuinely like it as well… which is the main reason why i purchased it, it’s even cheaper than name-brand cat food.

Delicious, and a outstanding bargain AND prepares you for the eventual zombie\nuclear apocalypse. I have a couple cases of this stuff. I eat a few cans a week, mixed with such a lot of mayonnaise and lemon juice. For galore reason I only eat this when I’m drunk. at the current price of just underneath 42bucks, make at s/s about 86cents a can..factor in the can size at 5oz vs 6oz at local stores is 11.8% lower in weight, thence higher again in price..factoring out to 96cents a can…this is way to high a costly those who got it at 50cents a can is a decent highpriced i will wait til that happens, til then store sales will be the credo.

and i agree with the review where there seems far less tuna in a can; press out the water and the can is 1/2 filled..you are buying lots of water, not tuna. sneaky, like a pound size can of coffee holds only 12 oz or so anymore.

I purchased a may of Roland mackerel in soy oil at my local grocery store, and found within delicious small little large big fish. On that basis I ordered this item from Amazon. The fish in these cans is much larger: every may contains just share of single fish. The flavor is fine but my concern is that these are king mackerel, which are fewer healthsome for your diet than other species (as you may check yourself with an Internet search). There is fewer omega-3 and, most likely more importantly, likely to be more of the man-made pollutants that accumulate in bigger fish. Of course the real resolution is that we stop polluting the oceans so badly! But until that happens, I will prefer to eat smaller fish.

Just ate my introductory tin and oooh boy! These little fish are delicious. Just the right quantity of salt and in soybean oil. wonderful way to stave off hunger…BEWARE Not for those who don’t like fishy treat

This mackerel is very good and tasty, and inexpensive. It is right up there with sardines as very healthsome fish. whether or not you can find them, cans like this cost around $2.50 to $3.00 a cannot Just drain the oil and enjoy.

This stuff is great. I used to eat this when I was a very poor college student. Between the canned mackerel and alot of walking I lost 30 pounds. Now I am alot older and still love its My husband and I work out in our woods. This is a convenient, easy, healthsome and delicious feed to take with us. It is as well an easy go-to feed when I am too lazy to prepare something. I bought a case of it and will be buying another soon.

i ordered a different brand that i had tried before but amazon said they would put me on a waiting list. i waited for a month or so and then ordered the roland brand.

in the process i learned that mackeral are seasonal. seems the best mackeral is only available in the spring when the omega3 oils are more than double as they are in the fall. the taste is very satisfactory but i’m still marveling if these mackeral are from the spring catch with a good amount of omega 3 or another time of year when they have fewer omega 3 because it does not list on the tin when they were caught.

I ordered this product and was not disappointed. The Mackerel is very tasty and is wonderful on bread or crackers. Highly recommended if you like mackerel.

Can’t get this at my grocery anymore, and it was close to $4 a tin anyway. Love this stuff. So much better than tuna. Great for work.

Very tasty. I commonly buy the mackerel in Olvie Oil but this is just as good. It doesn’t have nearly the amount of oil that the ones packed in Olive Oil do. Very good costly

I’ve been eating these for when it comes to 40 years. My mother applied to cook them when I was a kid and I still eat them today. I’ve been having trouble finding them since I moved to NC and wa delighted to find them on Amazon. Coat them in cracker crumb/flour/yeast and fry them in toasted sesame oil.

Tender Bits are my absolute bestloved feed in the world, and I’m not even vegetarian. Coat them in a mixture of flour, brewer’s yeast, and whatsoever else you want; fry them up in olive oil; and enjoy! Do whatsoever my grandmother does to them and you’ll recognise why they’re my favorite. Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!

I am SO HAPPY to see them on Amazon. It’s hard to get my hands on these small buggers living overseas with the military.

So glad I was capable to order this item through Amazon. especially with the free shipping, that was a tremendous plus!

I bought a whole case of these things to get my required protein in. They were a bit salty for me on their own, cus I’m not a salt person at all and eat like a old folks home, meaning hardley no salt in anything. But, I boiled them in with my frozen butter beans we put up from the garden and Ohhh My they were delicious. I made a sub sandwich with them and was so impressed, I’m going to order them again. I listen they are delicious fried up and breaded, so I want to try that too, but i’m going to bake mine and i’m certain that will be just as good!

I in truth like these Tender Bits, fried in just a little butter. They are quick and easy as my vegetarian alternative when I’m cooking chicken or pork for the rest of my family. Good with gravy, poultry seasoning or any of your other favored seasonings too.

Tender Bits are a variety of seitan/wheat meat and replace chicken breast in some recipes. They are best prepared sliced and sauteed until crispy with olive oil and garlic, and spiced according to taste. Prepared in this manner, they make an excellent topping for rice or pasta dishes, and are especially good when completed with barbeque sauce. What’s swell with regards to Tender Bits is that they may be retained on hand in the cupboard instead of the freezer, where some a package of seitan has met its premature end.

I am not a vegatarian. I tried these based on the reviews. I wanted something that was low in fat/carbs/other bad stuff. I need to lose weight and I love other soy products. So, gave it a try. This has become my favored Loma Linda products I add them to everything where I need meat or more substance. I use in stews, pizza toppings whether or not sliced thin, chili, spaghetti, even small tidbits in a salad. They take on the flavor of the sauce they are in, but better than tofu because the texture is firmer. if texture is hard to get over you might not like them, but if that isn’t an issue, this is a great product with so galore ways to use it is Great chicken substitute if you are in a rush. Microwaves well. I love them.

after reading al the reviews, i tried this product and do not like the consistency. I found that if i cook it in the microwave for a few minutes before using in recipes it is somewhat more palatable. this is not my favorite chicken substitute – prefer the fri chik over this productions

I love love love these. I wouldn’t ever consider them a chicken substitute, they are unique. I had a roommate once who was a Seventh Day Adventist and she introduced me to them and I got hooked. When I moved from Fla, I had to search high and low to get them. Now my health food store orders them for me.

I don’t acknowledge if anybody else eats them this way, but I just stir fry them in water on the stove and dip them in ketchup. My mouth waters thinking regarding them. My 12 yr old loves them too.

I make these and non-vegetarians beg for more. I’m forbidden from bringing anything else to potlucks.

I introductory ate these in a stir fry and they were terrible.

Then, after re-reading the reviews, I drained them, patted them dry, and dredged them in a flour/paprika mixture and fried them til dark golden. They’re aweinspiring dipped in BBQ sauce, honey mustard, a hot sauce/butter mixture, common tso’s sauce – you name its DELICIOUS! My friend’s love them and none of them are vegetarians. Even my extremely picky vegetarian husband will eat them.

Thought that I was becoming a gr8 deal when i ordered the 2000 pack for $44 from amazon…the order arrived in time and in good condition but while visiting a nearby costco in the following week of receiving the order, saw that the 1000 pack box was on regular price for $19 each….plus they have $3 – $5 coupons from time to time which could have brought it down to $16 – $17 per 1000 pack.

Splenda is the way to go and buying it in bulk like this saves a lot of money. The cost really racks up when you get at the grocery store.

I’ve ordered this a few times and will order it again when I need a refill

If you’re going to purchase this do NOT purchase it if it’s being sold by “segouna.” After over charging for shipping, she takes a week to email that it was shipped. But she hasn’t actually shipped it [but you don't recognise this]. So you wait and wait and email and email. She only responds to email sent through Amazon.com, never to email sent through your personal email. Then a few weeks later she claims she can’t find any tracking selective information on the firstborn package. A few days after that she at long last sends you your purchase, but only if you threaten to report her to Amazon.

We’ve applied Splenda and Kirkland brand sucralose packets. either product is very good for what it is, a no-calorie sweetener for hot or cold drinks, desserts, and breakfast cereal.

For convenience, instead than the best price, I bought this 2000-packet box of real Splenda-brand from Amazon. After using the product for a few days, i noticed my wife replaced her normal morning ice coffee with diet soda. She couldn’t stand the Splenda, it was giving her a dry mouth and bad taste. i had noticed something a small “off” but just dismissed it as my imagination. Later i tried a sample straight from the envelope, it had a very acrid taste and seemed to burn — it certainly wasn’t SWEET. i then did a blind taste test using a new, small box that i purchased from a local grocery store. night and day differences in summary, i think i got either an old/expired box (there’s no apparent expiration date on the box), or the product might have soaked up an odor/taste from something during transit.

It came in a plain brown box with a packet taped on the outside. Didnt have high expectations with a bulk item. Not broken packets.

I do not live in the United States, and I am applied of Splenda, and where I live nowadays, splenda is very pricey and not easy to find, and I found out that if I order it online from Amazon.com, I will get it much less expensively than where I live.

An excellent product at an excellent price.

This product is pre-washed and ready to cook without the bitter saponin taste. I do recommended rinsing all quinoa once anyways.

In reply to a former review, whether or not this product was not prewashed then it would have a bitter after taste.

In it’s natural state before quinoa is washed, the grains are coated with a bitter tasting natural pest repellent called saponin, which discourages insects and birds from eating the seeds.

The 25 pound arrived fast and in perfect condition, the grains are of a mature size and there isn’t any alien “things” mixed in with the quinoa. I will be ordering again whether or not the price stays competitive. My boyfriend is indigenous Quechua and we eat a lot of quinoa the 25lbs will last 3 months if we are lucky. Do the subscribe and save and choose when the delivery will be or even skip a delivery if needed.

As far as I recognise this is not pre-washed. We went ahead and washed and toasted ours before cooking. Tastes outstanding and much cheaper in bulk. Too bad it is no longer available for Subscribe & Save.

My wife and I love Alter Eco products. We just got this 25 lb bag of Pearl Quinoa thru UPS this morning. We love that Alter Eco is Fair Trade and their Pearl, Red & Black Quinoa are the best we’ve had.

I love this quinoa. The best highpriced The flavor it’s great. I prefered to purchase online since the price is right and better than any other store.

Prismacolors are nice markers. They aren’t the BEST, but they surely are good for beginners and novices. They are nicely blendable, come in an array of colors, and are double-tipped. They are shaped nicely too, so they are easy to control.

The downsides are as followed:

1. They tend to bleed a little.

2. This set comes with an unbalanced array of colors. There is 1 red, 5 shades of pink, 3 oranges, about 14 skin tones, 3 yellow, 7 shades of green, 2 very distinctly different purples, and 8 blues. It also comes with 2 metallic and 1 black. The others are colors inbetween. This set is best for drawing humane figures. The introductory two rows of the tray are assorted skin tones. There are no grays nor whites.

3. The tray isn’t all that great. Assembly is a bit confusing, and it doesn’t remain together as well as it could.

In conclusion, these markers are very nice, even though this set will have to be utilized soley for drawing bodies or even fashion design. The tray is not worth much more than $5, so if you aren’t pressed for space and perfectly need it, buy the set without the tray. It’s much less expensively and still worth it is

I’ve utilized these markers for a while now and they’ve been nice. They aren’t the top of the line and they do tend to bleed but they are outstanding for becoming started. I would commend them to any individual just starting out with markers.

the colors are top quality and easy to work with them. In my liking the size of the markers is perfect they couldn’t be better. i love this merchandise

These markers are wonderful. When ever I use them I am inspired because the colors come out so rich and vibrant on my paper. Remember to use thick marker paper for these as they will bleed by way of on regular paper.

GREAT markers! Though 1 did come entirely dried out, still outstanding to work with for artwork projects

I think these markers are a outstanding value for the costly I admit to liking the paintbrush tips on the copic markers better, but am rather pleased with the way the Prismas ‘paint.’

i utilized these for the first time in my 2-d design class and absolutely loved how they worked! i have employed the copics and the tombos but i like the prisma markers better. the only down side is that they arent refillable, once their gone, their gone! the colors are in truth vibrant and easy to “mix” the colors to invent new colors!

Arrived when promised and in great condition. It will be of significant support to me as an interior design student.

I got these for my 2d design class. We were permitted to choose our media and I immediately thought of these. I used these on a project my senior year of high school and was surprised by them, in particular after becoming used to them.

I originally purchased the 24 piece set at Blick, but returned them the day after because this specific page came up. For the 24 piece set I compensated $65, and for just $10 more, I doubled the number of markers.

Product was as described, everything works well,the price was wonderful, shipping was very fast, and we are very satisfied..Would not hesitate to buy like items again.
